LATEST NEWS ON DONALD BIRD

The Supreme Court has chosen to deny consideration of Donald Bird’s Petition for Writ of Certiorari. Bird is doing exactly what he said he would do, and that is to “go the last mile”, and so he has filed a Petition for Rehearing for the Court to reconsider their decision to not hear his case. However, reconsideration is very rarely granted. Bird feels that his $5,000.00 and 2 years of intensive effort have been wasted.

This article proves that Don Bird’s efforts actually were worthwhile. He proved that the refusal by members of the Supreme Court to decide his case shows that the Court is aligned with the anti-gun people holding down the seats in the legislative and executive branches of government.

The Petition for Rehearing is expected to be discussed by the Court on June 19, 2003.
