THE CHURCHES ARE BEING USED
TO DISARM AMERICANS!
The first broadcast as reported over Oregon Radio Station KCCS on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. announced:
“The Jason Lee Methodist Church in Salem, Oregon (503-362-9885) is offering a $50.00 certificate to buy food and goods in exchange for every firearm that is turned in on the collection date: October 8, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 40% of the homes in Salem with children have loaded or unloaded firearms in them.”
The recommendation inferred that people with children should turn in their guns. In the second announcement that came on the air a little later on the same day, the message was changed a bit.
The difference was found in these sentences: “Did you know that there are firearms in 40% of Oregon homes and over 22,000 children live in houses where firearms are loaded and unlocked?” “If you have an unwanted firearm in your home, and don’t know what to do with it, bring it to the voluntary gun turn-in on Saturday, October 8th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jason Lee United Methodist Church located off Fairgrounds Road at Jefferson Street N.E.” “For more information, please call 503 364 3929 or visit www.ceasefireoregon.org”.
